You may use Google™ sign-in to create or access your WyteLab account. WyteLab receives the Google account identifier, email address, display name and profile image made available by Google™. Google™ sign-in is separate from GitHub authorization; repository features require a GitHub connection because GitHub remains the source of truth for repository access.
WyteLab uses your GitHub account identity, repository access, requested repository content, service preferences, notification tokens, diagnostic usage counts, and billing records needed to operate the service.
Repository data is requested from GitHub only when needed for actions you initiate. We do not sell private repository content.
Code and diagnostic context may be sent to configured AI providers to provide the requested diagnosis. WyteLab redacts common credential patterns before sending diagnostic context and does not ask AI providers to commit or push code.
Payment information is handled through Flutterwave's payment APIs. WyteLab does not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV values, PINs, or OTPs.
If you enable push notifications, WyteLab stores the push token, account identifier, and device timezone needed to deliver build alerts, Good Morning messages, repository-limit reminders, and renewal reminders. You can disable notifications in Settings or your browser.
Authentication sessions, billing records, and notification registrations are protected server-side. Data is retained only as needed for service operation, security, accounting, and legal obligations.
If you choose to connect Google Drive™, WyteLab requests the drive.file scope only — this lets WyteLab create and access only the specific files it creates in your Google Drive™ (repository ZIP snapshots you export), and nothing else in your Google Drive™. WyteLab does not request access to your existing Drive files, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, or Sheets.
Access tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to upload the ZIP snapshot you requested at that moment. WyteLab's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services™ User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: this data is never used for advertising, never sold, and is not used to train generalized AI/ML models.
You can disconnect Google Drive™ at any time from within WyteLab (Developer Hub → Disconnect Google Drive™), which revokes the stored authorization and deletes it from our records, or by removing WyteLab's access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
